DOGS

A maximum of 2 dogs are welcome to share your room at our dog friendly B&B, we provide dogbeds and blankets and also a small pot of treats for them – after all they are on holiday too !  Their food etc must be supplied by you.

 

DEPOSIT and CANCELLATION POLICY

We use Worldpay for all financial transactions through this website which means that your card details are not collected and stored by us or this website for your security.

You can pay your deposit by VISA or Mastercard (we cannot take AMEX) using the secure payment gateway.  Just follow the process and you will have the option to use your cards.

Payment of your deposit confirms your booking.  Deposit is 50% of the total cost of your stay and is not refundable.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RELEVANT TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COVER YOUR STAY WITH US

We welcome guests between 4pm and 8pm, but if you need to arrive earlier or later please let us know in advance so we can try to accommodate you.

Terms and Conditions of Booking

If for any reason you need to cancel, the following will apply:

If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to the first night of the stay will be made.
If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.

In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

NOTE – These rates are for bookings made with us directly. If you book through a third party the rates will differ due to commission charges.

We are unable to accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or injuries to yourself or a member of your party, any vehicles, or possessions during your stay with us.

All reservations are on a non-refundable 50% deposit basis and non-transferable at the time of booking.  A confirmation email will be sent to the guest confirming their stay with us and confirming payment will be taken prior to arrival.  PLEASE NOTE that as soon as confirmation is made you have entered into an agreement with Craik Na Dav B&B and therefore you have also accepted the terms and conditions of booking.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your reservation we will try to find you alternative accommodation within the local area but if this is not possible we will refund you the reservation cost which you paid to stay with us.  Our liability will not extend further than this cost.

Craik Na Dav B&B is not VAT registered and therefore any VAT visible on a reservation is incorrect.  This applies to all reservations including ones made via online travel agents such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com etc.

There are so many on-line scams these days and it’s absolutely right for you to be cautious when paying for items on-line. We know that many people prefer to book through “channel managers” (AirBnB/Booking.com); often in the misconception that these sites offer greater security versus booking directly.

Our website is secure with “https” as denoted by the padlock symbol in your browser. Along with many other hospitality businesses in the UK, we use the “Free To Book” platform for our booking diary. Having used them for several years now we find them to be a totally ethical and fantastic company to partner with! Our booking payments are taken using Worldpay who are a major global financial services company. Additionally, using a credit card for payment may give you peace of mind with additional security by offering purchase protection for unauthorized use. We accept Visa Debit / Delta, Visa Credit, Maestro / Switch and Mastercard with no additional charge. We hope that this will give you confidence to book directly with us through this website and achieve the best possible price for your stay.
